Here are a few blog posts and podcasts that have been helpful to me to lately. I may not agree with everything that is said in these posts or podcasts, but they do add great thoughts to the conversations.

How do we live the right way as a Christian in a culture that is becoming post-Christian? Do we barricade ourselves in the church and talk about how bad the culture is becoming? Do we challenge and confront the culture aggressively?

This is not a legalistic post, but it is a post that mercilessly looks at the content of the Game of Thrones in order to see if a Christian should watch it. My favorite point was, “Nudity is not like murder and violence on the screen. Violence on a screen is make-believe; nobody really gets killed. But nudity is not make-believe. These actresses are really naked in front of the camera.”

Why do we have in-home small groups? One of the reasons is so that we can learn the practice of humbly confessing sin to one another, which not only helps us battle sin in the future, but, most importantly, gives opportunities for us to grow closer together as we help one another’s weaknesses.
